Memory from Robert Knight John, well what can i say, one of the nicest guys I've ever had the pleasure of knowing and calling friend, and definitely the toughest, the first memory i have of john , i was about 20 and been on the camphill run with Dave Knight & john firstly an Alsation bit through his hand, luckily we'd drank that much scotch we were knumb from cold & alcohol, we got back to keresley pit, i went with john to showers while dave sorted the truck out, this 'what i thought was a little man took his coal covered clothes off revealing arms the diameter of my waste and a physique of a cage fighter covered in tattoos, including the shamrock, i said John i thought you were an old man, he lifted his arms tensed and said, I could lift the world up with these f****** .. RIP warrior ,im sure hes putting someone right somewhere
